Project Overview

Business Objective: To guide Rockbuster Stealth's digital transformation from physical rental stores to a global streaming service by leveraging existing customer data to maximize subscriber acquisition and content strategy effectiveness.

Core Question: "How can we use historical rental data to identify our most valuable customers, optimal content categories, and priority markets for a successful launch against established competitors like Netflix and Amazon Prime?"

Key Deliverable: A comprehensive business intelligence framework with customer segmentation, content strategy recommendations, and market prioritization for the digital launch.

My Role & Process:

  • Data Collection & Cleaning: Used SQL to extract and Python/Pandas to clean customer, film, and sales data
  • Exploratory Analysis: Analyzed sales trends and customer demographics to find initial patterns
